Hi, I'm Tamsin Northridge
I was born in Enniskillen, near the border in Ireland (yep, thank you Brexit), I now live in Cambridge for reasons of long term loveliness and greenery and children.
At 10 Creative I help create extraordinary brands that live up to the dreams of their extraordinary founders. I do this by defining the strategy which precisely captures, and then crystallises, the ethereal entity that is 'a brand'.
Doing what I do, the part that I most enjoy is the joy of bringing to life something that is felt but not yet known.
In my opinion, the top 3 things which make a great team are being the same, being different, being brilliant.
If I could swap places with anybody in the world, for one day - it would be Trump, just to feel what that blind, rock-solid, self-belief feels like. Oh and to make some changes.
When I am not working, you'll find me alternating between adoring being with my children and longing to be alone.
The best concert I ever attended was 'How Like an Angel': site-specific 'nouveau cirque' (yep, I know) with a choir at 10pm in the cemetery of one of London’s oldest churches.
My top 3 pet peeves are:
1. Windows that don't open.
2. The sound of nails being filed.
3. The fact that Waterstone's removed their apostrophe.
The top 3 things on my bucket list are:
1. Go riding in the Mongolian Gobi desert.
2. Learn to ride.
3. Get eye surgery so I don't have to wear lenses or glasses on a horse.
The person that inspires me the most is Marilynne Robinson: her insight into the beautiful thing that is humanity is extraordinary.
If I could tell my 21-year-old self one thing it would be you are more than your doubts.
The book that changed my life is The Great Gatsby: how can every single word be so perfect?
The one dish that I can cook better than anybody else is toast.
If I could live anywhere it would be in my head.
