We wanted to capture the positivity of the team culture while creating a brand refined enough to be the parent for future subsidiaries.
The team from Cumulus Oncology approached us having already created their unique business model for driving oncology innovation. But they wanted help explaining their method, and evoking the right message to the breadth of their audience.
We aligned with their key stakeholders to understand the underlying needs, and long term trajectory of the business as we created an identity to hero the team’s expertise and experience in the turbulent world of entrepreneurship.


The idea of modelling an often complex and hard to predict system also helped us create the visual shorthand used in their logo. The matrix of dots are powerfully iconic, while still flexible as the basis for the visual language.
